Another glorious day on Mt Hutt. The sun shone, the ice glistened and the kids took to the slopes ready to work on their skills and get higher up that glorious mountain. Their positive attitudes and determination paid off, as never before have all the skiers and snowboarders progressed so quickly!
Everyone has left the magic carpet behind and headed up the
hill to the green run, coasting down ‘Highway 72’ and doing it with style. What’s
more impressive are the boarders, some of whom – yesterday – had never seen
snow, who made it up to the summit to complete the blue runs alongside our
experienced skiers.
By the time their 11am lessons started, their confidence and
ability had grown so much that the instructors were blown away with how far
they had come in a day! A real credit to their perseverance. They were on the
slopes all day, grinning from ear to ear, putting their instructor’s tips and
tricks into practice, serious about making the absolute most of their time.
What incredible conditions, what incredible kids, what an
incredible day!
